Fortuna

When my grandmother moved from NY to LA she brought everything with her. Each visit was more than invading her cookie jar; she could hear the top clinking from the far side of her place with the doors closed! I practiced the piano, but I also sat in front of her bronze sculptures in awe. I recently photographed her Fortuna while light poured down from a window above, lighting her so beautifully. I used my older lens, too, which I like using more, despite its heavier weight. I think there's always a place for classical sculpture and art in most spaces, including mixed in with modern or abstract art.
